Club Donates Pies To Hostel, Salvation Army & YMCA

Port Vale Football Club has donated pies to various food banks and hostels following the postponement of the match against Swindon Town.

The Valiants were due to face the Robins on Tuesday evening in Sky Bet League One action but the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

As a result of the postponement, the Club was left with a large number of pies and sausage rolls that had been prepared for the match.

In response, Vale decided to donate these to The Hope Street Hostel for the homeless, The Salvation Army Stoke and the YMCA in Hanley so they would not go to waste.
