This past weekend, striker Alex Jones scored his first two goals for the club and his first professional career goals.
Currently on loan from Birmingham City, Jones earned a spot in the Football League Paper Team of the Day after his performance against Scunthorpe.
It was also the first start for Alex, something he will be looking to continue after this weekend.
The first opportunity will be against Derby County tonight and although manager Bruno Ribeiro has hinted at changes tonight, Jones would jump at the chance to start.
He said: “I want to play as many minutes as I can but that’s a decision for the manager to make, I gave my all against Scunthorpe and that’s what I will do every game.
“I think we’ve got to build on today’s performance and keep that momentum going and its important that when you’re winning games in the league to keep winning games in cup competitions.
“Obviously it can only be a good thing to keep winning games.”
