Following the release of the Football League and Premier League schedules this morning, it is apparent the Club has two fixture clashes with Stoke City.
On the weekends of Saturday 6th February and Saturday 27th February Port Vale are currently scheduled to host Coventry City and Southend United respectively, while Stoke City are due to play Everton and Aston Villa at the Britannia Stadium.
Having discussed the matter with the relevant organisations, Port Vale Football Club has taken the decision to leave its fixtures as scheduled for the time being.
In the event that either of Stoke City’s games are broadcast live on television, the likelihood is that Port Vale’s games will go ahead as currently scheduled.
If neither of Stoke City’s games are broadcast live on television, Port Vale’s fixtures will be rearranged.
Details of these possible alterations will become clearer once the Sky TV schedules are announced in late December or early January.
