Port Vale’s deadline day loan signing Tommy O’Sullivan says his connections with manager Rob Page helped his decision to join the club.
The 20-year-old sealed a month-long deal at Vale Park on Monday evening from Sky Bet Championship outfit Cardiff City and will wear the number 18 shirt.
A creative midfielder with an eye for a pass, O’Sullivan has worked with Page at international level with Wales under-19s and under-21s.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, the youngster admitted that knowing the Vale boss had an impact on his choice to move to Burslem.
“It’s a big attraction, it’s what drew me here,” he said. “Obviously knowing the gaffer now is important and I’ve known him from before so it’s easy to get to know him and the players.”
