Port Vale can confirm the loan signing of Leicester City midfielder Jak McCourt.
The highly rated 20-year-old sealed his month-long switch from the Premier League side to Vale Park on Friday afternoon.
McCourt came through the Foxes’ youth system and signed his first professional contract with the club in May 2013.
He spent time on loan at Torquay United during the 2013/14 season, during which he made twelve appearances for the Gulls.
A set-piece specialist, McCourt is known for his pinpoint distribution from central midfield as well as his keen eye for goal.
He will wear the number 25 shirt for Vale and should be eligible to feature in tomorrow's clash with Bradford City.
Speaking of his latest acquisition, manager Rob Page said: “We’re delighted to have added Jak to our squad.
“He’s an extremely talented midfield player and someone we believe will help improve us while he’s here.”
