Ryan Inniss says he and his Port Vale teammates shouldn’t be fazed when they step out to face West Brom in the Capital One Cup.
The Valiants make the short trip south to the Hawthorns on Tuesday night, kick-off 8pm, to take on former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis’ side.
Vale have made a flying start to the season and are unbeaten after their first five games, a run which has included wins over Burnley and Doncaster Rovers.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD in the lead up to the cup-tie against the Baggies, Inniss said he’s looking forward to coming up against some top players.
“As players we want to play at the highest level and obviously we’ve been given this opportunity in the cup and long may it continue.
“So we need to turn up and do a job against these big players but not be fazed also.
“For myself, on a personal note, yes I want to test myself but if the team get a result – happy days.”
