Boss Looking Forward To MK Dons Clash

has described Port Vale’s run of three games in six days as ‘vital’ and is confident his side can tally up some important points. Rob PageManager

Karl Robinson brings his side to Vale Park on Saturday, the Valiants then head to Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening before hosting Preston North End just three days later.

With only five games of the Sky Bet League One campaign still to play, this quick-fire treble of fixtures could be key to the outcome of Vale’s season.

Speaking to Valiant Player ahead of the Dons match, Page insisted that his players are confident of having a successful week.

“It’s vital,” he said. “These are three big games for us now, your looking at the MK Dons game, Scunthorpe away on the Tuesday and Preston on the Friday.

“Two of those three are in the top three, pushing for points for promotion so there are no easy games for us but we’re confident in that changing room that we have enough to get the points we need.”
