Robbie Williams B'day Celebrations

Port Vale FC is set to join in the celebrations of their most famous fan’s 40th Birthday.

The Club will be supporting The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice at its home game against Swindon on Saturday 8th February 2014.

In addition to half-time pitch entertainment by UK No. 1 Robbie tribute Mike Andrew, there will be collections at turnstiles to help the charity to raise £2.5 million to provide care and support to hundreds of local life threatened children from Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

The Club is also supporting the charity’s Big Birthday Bash event that takes place in the Executive Suite on the same day from 8pm. The party event features Robbie Tribute Mike Andrew as well as a disco and a chance to win a number of exclusive Robbie Williams items in the auction and raffle.

The auction also includes a unique, one-off Port Vale FC home strip commemorating the pop star’s 40th Birthday.

Norman Smurthwaite, Port Vale Chairman said: “Port Vale are pleased to play a part in the Robbie Williams 40th Birthday celebrations whilst raising money for such a worthy cause as Donna Louse trust, we would like to wish Robbie a happy 40th and we hope to see him at the Vale very soon."

Port Vale FC will also be one of the stops along the newly announced Robbie Williams Tourist Trail which takes in 11 sites around Tunstall and Burslem where the pop star grew up.

Tickets for the Big Birthday Bash event cost just £15pp with all information available at www.donnalouisetrust.org and click on events, or at RWFANFEST on Facebook and @rwfanfest on Twitter.
