Updates from Micky Adams

Micky Adams has been preparing his side to face Gillingham since the Crawley Town match was called off on Tuesday and the extra few days has certainly helped Daniel Jones.

He will be back in contention for a starting place, but there are several others ruled out of the equation.

The Manager said: “The boys are looking good. We are disappointed the match was off on Tuesday night but we are looking forward to what is coming up.

“Daniel Jones has had a good week’s training and would have been in the squad on Tuesday – whether he would have started would have been a different matter.

“He has had those extra few days to ensure he is up to full speed and he will return to the squad.

“Rob Taylor, unfortunately, has had a slight set-back, nothing major, just a slight set-back, but that’s frustrating because we thought he was fully fit.

“Carl Dickinson obviously has got to get this ban out of the way so he won’t feature.

“Richard Duffy is progressing well, his ankle has responded well to treatment and he is back up running, so we are hoping in the next couple of weeks he will be there.

“Liam Chilvers is still struggling with his groin injury and I think that is about it.”
