Well whatever you think it’s undeniable that it’s no doubt our best season since 2006/07 and The Mighty Whites look well on course for safety. There are several key factors which have contributed to this: Recently I was reading through a group on FaceBook named the ‘League One banter page’ where one of the other fans on there described Vale as… “Overachieving”.

Even though some may say that the P word is still as far away as a steady economy for Britain there is still that little devil on the shoulder which is whispering “Vale can do it”. Who knows maybe we may be about to finally put the spectre of 2003/04 to bed… it’s just a good job Hartlepool and Swindon aren’t playing
