Match Officials: Newport County

Port Vale are back on home soil this weekend as they face Newport County at Vale Park in Sky Bet League Two action, with the match officials for the fixture now being confirmed.

Martin Coy will be the man in the middle this Saturday, having already taken charge of four games this season, and is yet to hand out a red card during the 2018/19 campaign. 

Last season, Coy officiated 34 games, giving out 69 yellow cards and only three reds. A breakdown of these fixtures can be found below.

The last time Coy was in charge of a Vale fixture was during the Valiants 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers at Vale Park in September 2017 – Dan Turner on the scoresheet that day.

By his side this weekend will be Matthew Parry and Joe Simpson as assistant referees, as well as James Mainwaring as fourth official.
