Port Vale Manager Darrell Clarke remains on compassionate leave of absence until further notice following a close family bereavement.

Assistant Manager Andy Crosby will continue to take charge of First Team affairs in the Gaffer’s absence, supported by First Team Coach Dean Whitehead.

Experienced coach Adam Murray, who has previously worked at Mansfield Town, Barnsley and West Brom, has joined Port Vale FC on a temporary basis to support Andy and his backroom team.

On behalf of Darrell and his family, Port Vale Football Club would like to thank every supporter and the thousands of people, clubs and organisations across the football family who have sent messages of condolence and support to our Manager.

The Club asks that the privacy of Darrell and his family continues to be respected during this difficult time.
