The Valiants have been placed into Northern group D in the 2021/22 Papa John's Trophy campaign.
Darrell Clarke's side are in Group D alongside Rochdale and Bolton Wanderers and will be joined by an invited Under-21 team.
The top two teams in the group stage will progress to the knockout stages of the competition.
A draw will take place live on Sky Sports from 4:30pm on Thursday (June 23) where one of the following will be drawn in to our group.

- Leicester City U21
- Liverpool U21
- Manchester City U21
- Manchester United U21
- Newcastle United U21
- Wolverhampton Wanderers U21
