DIRECTIONS

Join M6 S and at J8 join M5. Leave M5 at J25 and take A358 (Ilminster) and at A303 eastbound entering Yeovil on the A3088. Exit L at the 1st roundabout then straight over the next two roundabouts into Western Avenue. Cross the next roundabout then turn L into Copse Road for supporters’ parking.

OVERVIEW OF HUISH PARK

The Glovers moved to Huish Park in 1990. The home fans create a lively atmosphere in this small, compact ground. Behind one goal is the Thatcher Gold Terrace, a covered standing area housing the home fans who create most of the noise with the aid of a drum.

The two side stands, The Tamburin  and Screw fix community Stand, are similar in appearance with the former holding the dug outs and executive boxes. The final uncovered standing area behind the goal holds the away fans.

WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE HOUSED:

For the Vale fans who think that the best way to enjoy football is from a standing position then this is the ground to visit. The away supporters are allocated The Copse Road Terrace which holds 1,750, but be aware there is no cover at all.

600 seats are made available in the Screwfix Community Stand for those who prefer a little comfort

BEST CHIPPY/ PLACE TO EAT:

To find the nearest chip shop, called Palmers, walk south along Luton Way, which runs alongside Huish Park, until you reach a roundabout and then turn right onto Bunford Lane, then next right onto Lansdowne Lane  - the chippy is at the end.
