The Opposition

Darren Way’s Yeovil Town side defeated League One Southend United in the first round which earned them a tie in Burslem. They sit in a similar positon to Vale in the league table where just two points separate The Valiants and Yeovil in 18th.

The Glovers will be looking to make it two cup wins from two this week after they defeated Plymouth Argyle in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.

Neil Aspin: “As a player or a manager, everybody wants to try and get a big club to test yourself. If we put in a good performance then we have a good chance of progressing.”

Darren Way: "I thought the performance against Southend was a very good performance. We're all prepared and ready to go to Port Vale and hopefully, we can pick up a result and keep this FA Cup run going.”
