Lorent began his career in Switzerland with FC Sion Youth. He also featured for his country’s Under-19 squad, scoring a staggering eight goals in four games. Lorent made the switch over to England in 2018 when he joined Brighton. However, he spent his Brighton career out on loan throughout the football league. The 22-year-old joined the Vale from non-league side Aldershot and gained 22 goal contributions in his first season with the Valiants.
