Port Vale nominated for Football Content Award

The nominations for this year's Football Content Awards have been revealed and we're delighted to say that we have been shortlisted in the Best Football Club category for the football league.

Celebrating independent creators to media organisations, the Football Content Awards have been highlighing the best in online football media since 2012 and have been dubbed the 'Oscars of the Football Content Industry'.

Content and media operations manager Dan Townley said:

"We're all absolutely delighted to be nominated for a Football Content Award. The excellent team we have here at Vale Park work tirelessly to produce a range of content that celebrates and showcases the area we're from whilst also bringing supporters closer to the club and team they love.

"With a range of launches that include a poem written specifically for the club by local artist Nick Degg, Robbie Williams working with us to create and unveil a shirt during his homecoming gig and we can't forget launching this season's away shirt in space! - we want to continuously grow and develop and this nomination is testament to all the hardwork put in by Ben, Miles, Adam and our extended matchday media team.

"We're also extremely lucky to have a supportive board who back and trust us which allows us complete creative freedom."

With voting conducted by fans and judges, the original idea was founded by Anthony Cooper before joining forces with Snack Media to find the ‘Fans Ballon d’Or’ – the best in the online content world.
