Board Vacancies - Voluntary

Port Vale Foundation is an independent charity, which uses the power of Port Vale Football Club to improve lives and communities.

The charity has been established for eight years and delivers a range of programmes across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire supporting outcomes in community engagement, sport, health and education.

Over the last 12 months, the charity has seen a significant period of change, with a greater focus on developing a sustainable relationship with Port Vale Football Club, utilising the resources available for the benefit of the local community. To enhance our impact further, we are seeking highly motivated, skilled and passionate individuals to become members of our board of trustees. The role will be required to attend board meetings and potentially lead any sub-groups related to specific areas of expertise.

If you believe that you have the desire and passion to support a well established and local charity making a real difference, we would love to hear from you. We believe that we can do more and are being intentional with our approach to make a greater lasting impact for our local people and communities.

A full induction, training and support network is offered to candidates. We are looking to appoint three new board members and whilst we are very open to a wide range of skills sets that can add value we also require expertise in finance and equality, diversity and inclusion.
