Updated Sky Bet League Two Play-Off semi finals information for Port Vale supporters: Home leg tickets

10 May 2022

Port Vale FC is delighted that the team has made the League Two Play-Offs and looks forward to welcoming fans to Vale Park and taking you away with us to the County Ground in Swindon.

The first leg – Swindon Town FC versus Port Vale FC – will take place at the County Ground on Sunday, May 15, with a midday kick-off.

The second leg will take place at Vale Park on Thursday, May 19, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Home leg tickets

The club is making new and exciting arrangements to accommodate more supporters and provide the best possible experience for the home leg of the Play-Off semi finals.

This involves building on the success of the pilot ‘beamback’ screening of the Exeter City versus Port Vale game last Saturday.

Having listened to positive feedback from fans who had experienced the Hamil Road Stand and its facilities for the first time, the club will be offering ALL home supporters the opportunity to watch the home leg from the Hamil Road Stand to help to create an amazing atmosphere for Darrell Clarke and his team.

This means 2,200 Swindon supporters will be housed in the Bycars Stand for this fixture. Seating for away fans in the Bycars Stand will be unreserved.

This stand ‘switch’ will mean an additional 850 tickets will be available to home supporters for this game (because of the larger capacity of the Hamil Road Stand versus Bycars Stand).

The club would like to thank Bycars Stand Season Ticket holders, and other fans who usually use this stand, for their understanding and encourage them to help us fill the Hamil Road Stand.

To cater for these new arrangements, seats will be set aside in the Hamil Road Stand for Bycars Stand Season Ticket holders.

Bycars Stand Season Ticket holders will, of course, also have the opportunity to purchase a seat in another area of the stadium designated for home supporters between Thursday, May 12, at 9am and midnight on Sunday, May 15.

Note: Seating in the Hamil Road Stand will be unreserved while seating in the Lorne Street and Railway Stands will be reserved for this fixture.

Tickets for the home leg at Vale Park will go on sale at 9am on Thursday, May 12 – to both Season Ticket holders and on general sale – via the Port Vale ticket office and online at port-vale.co.uk/tickets

Supporters are advised that normal league match pricing will apply to the Lorne Street and Railway Stands for the home leg at Vale Park.

Pricing for tickets in the Hamil Road Stand will be the same as for the Bycars Stand for this one-off fixture (and subject to future reviews).

Home supporter tickets for this Play-Off fixture will only be sold to those fans who are:

a) Season Ticket holders
b) on the club’s supporter database
c) have a verifiable purchase history with the club (up to May 9, 2022)
d) buy in-person at the ticket office – with proof of a local address

Season Ticket holders’ seats will be reserved up until midnight on Sunday, May 15 – after which, tickets for those seats will be released on general sale.

Ticket office late opening

The Port Vale ticket office will remain open later this week until 7pm on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13.

Parking

Normal league match parking operations will continue for this fixture. This means supporters with a season pass will be able to utilise it for this game. Pay-on-the-day parking will also be available at Synectics Solutions – subject to availability.

Staffordshire University FanZone

All EFL Play-Off fixtures will be screened live on Sky TV.

Unfortunately, this means we are unable to operate the Staffordshire University FanZone for our home leg.

Port Vale would like to thank all fans – home and away – for their incredible support this season. UTV!
