Port Vale Football Club can confirm that George Lloyd has returned to his parent club, Cheltenham Town, due to an injury that has halted his time at Vale Park.
Lloyd made 11 appearances for the club, finding the back of the net twice during his loan; scoring the first in our 5-0 win over the Liverpool Under-21’s in the Papa John’s Trophy, and rounding off our 5-1 win over Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
