Staffordshire University retained as back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2021/22 season

Ahead of the upcoming Home Kit Launch Weekend, Port Vale can reveal that Staffordshire University are retained as official back-of-shirt sponsor for the new 2021/22 season.

Staffordshire University delivers high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate education across a wide range of subject areas including computing, design, law, and business, engineering, and healthcare. The university has more than 20,000 people study their degrees internationally.

Last summer, Staffordshire University became one of Port Vale’s Principal Partners to enhance and develop community engagement and educational opportunities in the region. In addition, Staffordshire University extended the partnership becoming official back-of-shirt sponsor and have maintained their commitment to the club ahead of the new campaign.

Ritchie Bates, Port Vale’s Head of Commercial said: “I am thrilled to announce once again that Staffordshire university will be our back of shirt partner. The support over the last year has been fantastic, and we are proud to have such a close association and relationship with an award-winning university.

Since first meeting Deb and Andrea at the Uni, they have been extremely supportive and we look forward to the season ahead, and to building the relationship further”.

Deborah Sanderson- Head of Development and Alumni Relations had this to say;

“Port Vale FC is making a big impact in the community as well as on the pitch and we are proud to have Staffordshire University name on the shirts.

We share the club’s values and passion for sport, health and wellbeing, improving the life chances of the people in the local community and providing opportunities so they can achieve their full potential.

It will be great to see the fans returning to Vale Park this summer and we are working closely with the club on some exciting new developments – so watch this space!”
