Port Vale will find out our opponents in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday morning.
Vale will be ball number 24 in the northern section of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup round one draw.
The draw will take place on Sky Sports News at 10am and Vale are one of 70 teams at this stage of the competition.
The Valiants took on Burton Albion at Vale Park in round one of the competition last season but lost 2-1 against the League One side.
Our most memorable run in the Carabao Cup came in the 2006-07 season, when the Valiants made it to the fourth round of the competition after overcoming Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City, before we were beaten 3-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
Should the game be level after 90 minutes, the tie will be decided on penalties.
