The club can confirm that Richie Bennett has been officially awarded the goal that was scored against Cambridge United on Saturday 31st August.
Following a request from the club to the dubious goals panel at the EFL to review the goal, the panel agreed that goal will be credited to Bennett.
With the change now confirmed, Bennett has scored three goals for the club since signing in the summer and will be looking for his fourth this Saturday when we host Plymouth.
