Match Officials: Crewe Alexandra

The Valiants will travel to Crewe Alexandra’s Gresty Road on Saturday as they look to make it two away wins on the bounce after last week’s victory at Bradford City. The match officials for the fixture have been confirmed and can be found below:

 Ross Joyce has been confirmed as the official who will take charge of Port Vale's ninth away game of the season against local rivals Crewe, having officiated 43 games across all competitions last season and eight games so far this season.

Over the course of the 43 games Joyce refereed last season, he handed out a total of 152 yellow cards and five red cards. In the games refereed this season he has given out 33 yellow cards and one red card. Joyce officiated the Vale once last season, in 2-0 defeat at home to MK Dons and has already refereed the Valiants once this season, in a 2-1 home victory over Forest Green Rovers.

His assistants on Saturday will be Matthew Parryand Joe Clark, with Lewis Smithtaking on the role as fourth official.
