Match Officials: Carlisle United

Port Vale welcome Carlisle United to Vale Park on Saturday afternoon where the Valiants will look to stretch their emphatic unbeaten record at home in the league to nine games. The match officials for the fixture have been confirmed and can be found below:

Martin Coy has been confirmed as the referee who will take charge of Saturday's fixture at Vale Park. Coy officiated a total of 35 matches across all competitions last season, and 12 matches so far this campaign.

Over the 35 matches he officiated last season, Coy handed out a total of 93 yellow cards and two red cards; one of those reds being shown to Vale's Emmanuel Oyeleke in a defeat to Mansfield Town. This season, Coy has handed out 44 yellows across the 12 fixtures, but is yet to show a red card. Coy refereed the Valiants on two occasions last campaign; a 2-1 home defeat to Newport County and a 1-0 defeat away to Mansfield.

His assistants on Saturday afternoon will be Marvyn Amphlett and Thomas Harty with Richard Bartlett taking the role as fourth official.
