Ross Joyce has been confirmed as the referee who will officiate the Vale's cup tie against the Robins on Saturday afternoon. Joyce took charge of 43 matches across all competitions last season, as well as 15 so far this campaign.

Sky Bet League Two: 12 (18/19) 3 (19/20)

EFL Trophy: 5 (18/19) 3 (19/20)

FA Cup: 4 (18/19) 1 (19/20)

Over the 43 matches he officiated last term, Joyce handed out a total of 152 yellow cards and five red cards. This campaign he has given out 47 yellows and just the one red over the 15 fixtures he has overseen. This weekend will see Joyce take charge of the Vale for the third time this season as both of his League Two fixtures involved John Askey's men; a 2-1 win at home to Forest Green and the 1-0 away victory against rivals Crewe Alexandra.

His assistants on Saturday afternoon will be Louis Marks and Robert Dabbs with Robert-Massey Ellis taking the role as fourth official.
