Port Vale fixture dates and kick off times for this season EFL Trophy Group Stage games have now been confirmed and the details can be found below.
The Valiants will kick start their EFL Trophy Group Stage fixtures at home to Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday 3rd September.
Three weeks later on Tuesday 24th September, Macclesfield Town will host us at Moss Rose for our one and only away fixture in the group stages.
This will be the first time John Askey comes up against his former side Shrewsbury Town since he departed as their manager.
We finish off the group stage fixtures by welcoming Newcastle United under 21s to Vale Park on Tuesday 12th November.
Tickets will cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and ALL fixtures will kick off at 19:45.
Clubs are awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. In the event of a drawn game after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout will be held with the victorious team gaining an extra point.
The top two placed teams will progress to the knock-out rounds. In the event of points being level, positions will be determined by established criteria.
