Sky Bet Preview: Colchester United

25 January 2018

Port Vale go into this weekend's Sky Bet League Two clash with Colchester United as favourites according to Sky Bet, with Neil Aspin's men priced at 23/20 to pick up all three points.

If you fancy the game to be a draw at Vale Park, odds of 23/10 are available, whilst a repeat of December's 1-1 stalemate is priced at 5/1.

The U's travel to Burslem sitting just five points outside of the play-off positions, but they are ranked as outsiders at 12/5.

In the first goal scorer market, Tom Pope is favourite to open the scoring for Vale at 7/2, whilst Luke Hannant and Zak Jules are priced at 12/1 and 33/1 respectively on their home debuts.

For Vale to win and Pope to score during the 90 minutes, odds of 9/4 are aso available.

Sky Bet are also offering match specials, with the Valiants priced at 11/2 to score two or more in the first half, or 6/1 is an option if you believe the hosts will score inside the first ten minutes.
