It was a week of mixed fortunes for Joe Slinn and Stalybridge Celtic, as they picked up a win on the weekend, but a defeat midweek.
Slinn helped Celtic to their first three points since the opening day of the season against Stourbridge, with a string of fine saves.
However, he was unable to prevent Buxton coming away with three points on Tuesday night, despite a fairly even encounter.
It was a similar week for young defender Luke Dennis, as he helped Newcastle Town to three points and a clean sheet this past weekend against Corby Town.
Although, he was unable to help prevent a 2-1 defeat against Belper Town on Tuesday night.
Finally, Mike Calveley made his move to Leek Town on Tuesday and he was part of the side that came up against Stocksbridge Park Steels.
