The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Newcastle United U21 this midweek.
David Coote will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s clash against Newcastle United U21’s in the Checkatrade Trophy.
This season, Coote has officiated in:
1 League Two game
1 League One Game
Having officiated in ten games so far, David has given a total of 46 yellow cards and four red cards.
It will be the first time Coote has officiated a Vale game since the Sky Bet League One 2015/16 season, in the 2-0 defeat to Burton Albion back in October.
He will be assisted by Nick Hopton and Adam Matthews, while Stephen Martin will act as fourth official.
