It was a great weekend forLuke Dennis and Newcastle Town, as they picked up all three points at home against Cleethorpes Town.
A penalty with just 15 minutes to go was enough to separate the two sides and ensure Dennis’ Newcastle would be celebrating.
Unfortunately, Luke was the only winner this past week as it was disappointment for Mike Calveley and Charlie Walford.
Walford and Romulus went down to a 5-1 defear away at Peterborough Sports and Calveley and Leek lost 1-0 at home to Basford United.
Elsewhere, Joe Slinn continued his step-up from injury as he was on the bench during Stalybridge Celtic’s 0-0 draw away at Grantham Town.
Finally, Bradford Park Avenue had no fixture this weekend, so there was no action for Graham Kelly.
