There were also wins for Stalybridge Celtic and Newcastle Town where Celtic defeated Matlock 4-1 and Newcastle overcame Soham 3-0. ‘Keeper Joe Slinn did not feature for Stalybridge, but Luke Dennis started for Newcastle in the impressive victory.
Charlie Walford’s Romulus lost to CorbyTown in the FA Trophy, 2-0. Graham Kelly’s Bradford Park Avenue held Kidderminster Harriers to 1-1 draw in the National League North where he managed to get the full 90 minutes under his belt.
