It was a weekend of goals for Port Vale’s loan stars in this week’s ‘loan watch’, and we catch up on the latest set of results.
It was goals galore at the Horsfall Stadium with Graham Kelly’s Bradford Park Avenue defeating Blyth Spartans 4-1. The young left-back started the game and played well throughout, as Bradford earned a vital three points.
Elsewhere, Luke Dennis’ Newcastle Town defeated Gresley at the weekend as he started in the 2-1 win – allowing Town to leap up the table.
Also, Mike Calveley’s Leek Town drew 2-2 with Frickley Athletic as the midfielder started.
There were heavy defeats for Joe Slinn’s Stalybridge Celtic as they lost 5-0 to Mickleover Sports and Charlie Walford – who’s Romulus side lost at Loughborough Dynamo.
