We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Danny Pugh on a permenant deal until the end of the season.
The experienced midfielder joins from Blackpool after the mutual termination of his contract today.Danny has racked up over 350 career appearances since making his professional debut with Manchester United during the 2002/03 season.
The 34 year-old began his career at Old Trafford before moving to the Championship, playing for Leeds United and Preston North End between 2004 - 2007.
Pugh then joined for Stoke City and was part of the side which gained promotion to the Premier League.
Four years in the Premier League then came to an end when he returned to Leeds United, just after a short loan spell with Preston.
Danny then had spells with Sheffield Wednesday, Coventry City, Bury and Blackpool.
Pugh will add a vast amount of experience to the Vale midfielder and will be available for selection this weekend.
