We are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Jack Stobbs on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
The captain of the Owls under-23 side has joined Vale on a season long loan and will begin training with his new team mates ahead of the weekend trip too Chesterfield.
At 20 years of age, Jack has been at Wednesday since the age of eight and has risen through the ranks, signing his first professional contract back in 2014.
Since then, Stobbs has made his first team debut at the age of 17 against Bolton Wanderers at Hillsborough, as well as featuring again during the 2015/16 campaign.
Last season, Jack captained the Sheffield Wednesday Development Squad to the Professional Development League 2 North Title and the National Championship.
