Match Officials - Leeds United

8 August 2017

The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Leeds United in the midweek fixture.

Peter Bankes will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s Carabao Cup First Round clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.

Last season, Bankes officiated in 26 Championship games, four League One games and three League Two games, giving a total of 113 yellow cards and 10 red cards.

It will be the first time Bankes has officiated a game with Vale since the 2015/16 campaign, when Vale beat Swindon Town 1-0 at Vale Park, thanks to a Carl Dickinson goal.

He will be assisted by Paul Hodskinson and Matthew McGrath, while Mark Dwyer will act as fourth official.
