The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Chesterfield this weekend in Sky Bet League Two.
Tom Nield will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s clash at the Proact stadium this weekend.
Last season, Nield officiated in 18 National League games, giving a total of 39 yellow cards and four red cards.
It will be the first time Nield has officiated in a game involving Port Vale Football Club, following his promotion from the National League to the Football League.
He will be assisted by Richard Bartlett and Danny Gratton, while Michael Denton will act as fourth official.
