Sam Foley Previews Bolton

21 April 2017

Midfielder, Sam Foley, has said that the squad will go into tomorrow’s game against Bolton Wanderers with “huge belief” and “positive thoughts”.

The 30-year old has been a regular figure for Michael Brown’s side since his return from injury and knows the reward if The Valiants beat Bolton.

He said: “All we can do is believe.

“That’s the situation we’re in. We’re at home which is a massive plus for us. Bolton haven’t been great over the last few weeks!

“Playing Sheffield United was always going to be difficult for our point of view, whereas with Bolton it’s a big game and a totally different situation.

“There’s huge belief when we play at home and I don’t see any reason why we can’t go into the game thinking the most positive thoughts.”

The Trotters are currently 2nd in the Sky Bet League One, but that doesn’t faze Foley as he just describes the clash as any other affair.

He said: “It’s just another game.

“I can’t speak for my teammates but it’s just eleven v eleven.

“They’re a big club but they’re playing against us with the same amount of players, with the same rules and the same referee so for me it doesn’t matter who they have playing.”
