The club would like to release the following statement ahead of the final two home league games.
Due to the high number of traveling supporters from both Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers for our last two home games of the season, we would like to inform supporters that The Vale Social Club (Tommy Cheadle's) will only be open to visiting supporters for these two matches.
Port Vale Football Club would like to apologise to home supporters for any inconvenience that this may cause.
This decision has not been taken lightly and all options have been considered in reaching this decision.
The overriding factor for the club is to always keep spectator safety at the forefront of our minds when planning for all fixtures, it is always our intention to try and create a safe environment where all supporters can enjoy the match.
We would be very grateful for the cooperation of our supporters in this matter and thank them for their understanding.
