The Port Vale reserves were in action yesterday, as they welcomed Morecambe to Vale Park.
In a very strong line-up for Vale, they ran out comfortable 3-1 winners and were unlucky to not have hit the back of the net more.
Striker, Rigino Cicilia opened the scoring with his second goal in as many games for the reserve side.
Cicilia took it past the keeper, after latching on to Sam Kelly’s ball, following an exchange between himself and Sam Hart.
Rigino continues to work as he regains full fitness and looks to make a return to the starting eleven for the Valiants.
After the game, the striker spoke to Valiant PlayerHD and told of his aim to get back into the side.
He said: “I’m feeling good we won the game and I scored one goal so it’s all good after the game.
“I’m feeling much better now, I still have a little bit of pain, but it’s not too much and I’m feeling better and hopefully Saturday I can play as well against Bristol Rovers, so I’m excited.
“I want to be in the first eleven that’s my goal and I want to score goals there as well and help the team to win.”
