It is with great sadness we have to report the passing of former Vale Chairman Don Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe had two spells on the Port Vale board and took over as Chairman in 1980.He stepped down in 1982 but remained a Vale supporter, despite moving out of the area a few years ago.
Aged 87 years, he passed away on Sunday 11th September 2016 in St. Annes.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this sad time.
