Port Vale defender Ben Purkiss says the squad is going into this weekend’s game against Peterborough United in good spirits.

Rob Page’s side has picked up seven points from the last three games, which has taken them up to ninth in the table and just three points off the play-offs.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, Purkiss said the atmosphere in the dressing room is very positive.
“I think everyone is in high spirits,” he commented. “We had a disappointing result at Sheffield United but we’ve reacted well to that.
“We’ve had a couple of good results at home and then we picked up a point away at Oldham, where perhaps we should have taken more so I think everyone is in good spirits heading into the game tomorrow.”
