Mr Bond has officiated 26 games so far this season, brandishing 78 yellow cards and two reds, but he is yet to take charge of a game involving the Vale.
The last time he did was in January 2015, when Rob Page’s side lost 3-0 to Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium.
Ian Dudley and Nick Hobbis will assist Bond at London Road as linesmen while Ian Smedley will be the fourth official.
