More players to be added this week
Any thoughts of Vale being unable to field a side when they play their opening pre-season friendly this weekend have been well and truly put to bed with a spate of signings over the past week.
The game at Newcastle Town, which kicks off at 2.30pm this Saturday, will see several new faces in the Vale shirt and the game is certain to attract a large number of supporters, all hoping to catch a glimpse of the new signings.
So what is all the fuss about? Do we even know who is in the Vale squad now after such a turnaround over the summer? Let’s have a look at the squad as it currently stands.
