Darren Drysdale will referee Port Vale’s match with Wigan Athletic this weekend.
The Valiants make the trip to Lancashire to face the Latics on Saturday, kick off 3pm, in Sky Bet League One action.
Mr Drysdale has officiated 21 games so far this term, brandishing 50 yellow cards and one red.
The last game he took charge of involving the Vale was in September as Rob Page’s side were beaten 1-0 at Bury.
Scott Oldham and Joe Simpson will be assistant referees at the DW Stadium while Ricky Wootton will be the fourth official.
