Today was an important one in Enoch Andoh’s road to recovery as the winger was able to ride an exercise bike in the gym for the first time since sustaining his injury.
The Valiant PlayerHD cameras followed the 23-year-old, who has been out of action since October, as he went through a day of therapy at Vale Park and MClub.
Andoh performed a number of exercises and stretches and spent time on the leg press to improve the range and strength of his knee.
After that he was able to ride the exercise bike for the first time and, speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, Head Physio James Rowland was delighted.
He said: “It’s fantastic, it’s actually ten weeks today. In the initial period he did have a brace on and we were restricted in his movement.
“The specialist has given him the go ahead and he’s got the range to safely go on the bike which is great.
“He’s done ten minutes today so it’s a milestone for him and it’s another goal that we’ve met so we’re really pleased.”
