Port Vale and Fleetwood Town played out a goalless draw at Vale Park on Saturday. Here we take a look through the other standout results in Sky Bet League One.

At the Ricoh Arena, Coventry City returned to winning ways with a spectacular 6-0 win over Bury. Adam Armstrong scored twice late on to seal the thrashing of David Flitcroft’s side.


Peterborough United were unable to replicate their impressive performance from their FA Cup tie with West Brom when Bradford City visited London Road.


The Bantams cruised to a 4-0 win thanks to a James Hanson brace and goals from Kyel Reid and Steven Davies.


Vale loanee Chris Neal was unable to prevent Doncaster Rovers from losing 1-0 to Sheffield United at the Keepmoat Stadium.


The shot-stopper played the full 90 minutes but Che Adam’s first half strike was enough to earn the Blades all three points.


Shrewsbury Town ended a run of three league games without a win as they scored three goals in the first half on their way to a 3-2 victory over Blackpool.


Salop were 2-0 up within seven minutes thanks to goals from Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Shaun Whalley before Andy Mangan added a third.


Tom Aldred and Danny Philliskirk each scored to make the second half interesting but it was Micky Mellon’ side that walked away with maximum points.


The battle of the two Latics’ finished goalless as Wigan Athletic and Oldham Athletic couldn’t be separated at the DW Stadium.


Elsewhere, Gillingham beat Barnley 2-1, Crewe and Walsall drew one apiece, Colchester lost 4-1 at home to Swindon, Millwall won at Rochdale and Scunthorpe beat Southend.
