Port Vale midfielder Michael O’Connor has been named in the Football League’s Team of the Week.
The Northern Irishman played the full 90 minutes as the Valiants beat Southend United 3-1 at Vale Park.
He scored the second goal of the game, and has a good case for claiming the third, while his corner led to Ajay Leitch-Smith’s opener.
