Take a look at the striker's thoughts from this weekend.
This past Saturday saw Vale come up against a Manchester United Xl at Vale Park, in which they came away 4-2 winners.
It was the first goals to be scored in front of the home fans during pre-season and highlighted what the side can be capable of in the upcoming campaign.
One of the goal scorers that day, Rigino Cicilia, grabbed his first two goals in a Vale shirt, with brilliant finish from the penalty spot and a great follow-up from a Kjell Knops effort.
The 6ft5in striker was delighted to get on the score sheet and believes it could be the first of many this season.
He said: “I’m feeling good at the moment, me and all the players, we’re getting closer to one another and we’re becoming a family so it’s great to be apart of.
“It’s great to get on the score sheet, its good for my confidence and its also good for the team heading into Bradford.
“I hope the goals can help me keep going now and come the start of the league hopefully I will be able to score a lot more.
“I picked up a slight knock to my knee in the game but I will see James the physio and I’m sure I will be available for Saturday.”
