The EFL have announced the officials set to take charge this week.
Robert Jones will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s Sky Bet League One clash with Rochdale.
It will be the first League One clash of the season for Jones, as he has previously refereed two League Two fixtures between Notts County vs Stevenage and Newport County vs Mansfield.
Also, it will be the first Port Vale fixture Jones has officiated, having been promoted to the Football League this season, following his performances in the National League.
He will be assisted by Robert Atkin and David Benton, while Mark Jones will act as fourth official.
